Full time placement: Choose The Right Nanny only works with nannies that are willing to make a minimum 1 year commitment. On-Call or Temporary: Care providers must register and work at least once per quarter to remain active. Job placement referrals are based on seniority, quality of work, on-time performance, and availability.
Once a nanny has accepted a position, their employer is responsible for providing them with the appropriate relocation cost. Most families choose to fly the nanny candidate to their home. Once the nanny has completed their 1 year commitment, the family is responsible for paying their airfare home. If the nanny does not keep their 1 year commitment, the nanny may be responsible for paying their airfare home.
Nannies are primarily responsible for the care and welfare of the children. Nannies may be responsible for light housekeeping duties in regard to the children, simple meals, laundry, driving to and from school and activities, and some errands. Other duties may be negotiated by your employer prior to hire. Be sure to ask for a detailed job description to ensure a successful working relationship.
This generally depends on whether you are full-time, part-time, live-in or live-out, and the scope of your position. If you have relocated to the job site, most families provide a vehicle for the nanny during work hours and some include usage during their personal time. In some instances, a family may negotiate with the nanny to bring a car to the job. If you are local and live out, you must have reliable transportation to get to and from the job site.
Nannies never have to pay a registration fee for our service.
On average nannies work 10-12 hours per day. This can vary per family and is negotiated during the interview and hiring process.
This question varies by individual family. There is no requirement for families to pay for the nanny"s health insurance. This can be a negotiating factor when discussing salary. Some families will contribute towards health insurance. Choose The Right Nanny placement counselors can provide you with more information regarding health insurance options.

A Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) care provider (nanny, housekeeper, tutor, personal assistant, dog walker etc.) registers as a Choose The Right Nanny care provider. You log in and update your availability weekly. When a family registers for On-Call or temporary service we will email or call you to confirm your availability and schedule the service.
Choose The Right Nanny does not employ any care providers. You will be paid for your services directly by the family at the time of service.
National Care Providers salaries vary based on location, maturity, responsibility, job requirements, experience, and education. Live-in care providers salary range can start at $350 go up to $1000+ per week. Full-time live-out care providers usually start at $500 up to $1500+ per week. DFW On-Call/Temporary Care Provider fees vary based on the type of service performed. They start at $10 and can go as high as $25+ per hour.
You are required by Federal law to pay your appropriate share of the employment taxes. Paying employment taxes protects both the family and the care provider. There are heavy fines and penalties for those who do not abide by the law. When a family pays their portion of the employment taxes on household employees they also give more credibility to their position. Choose The Right Nanny placement counselors will provide you more information regarding taxes and other options.
